Научные достижения: doctor of medical science, professor, head of laboratory of metabolism in critical states of V.A. Negovsky Scientific Research Institute of General Reanimatology, which is a subdivision of Federal Research and Clinical Center of Intensive Care Medicine and rehabilitilogy, Moscow. Research interests: sepsis, infectious complications, biomarkers, antibiotic therapy, human microecology, microbiota, microbial biofilms, metabolomics, metabolic diagnostics, bacterial signaling molecules. All labor activity of Beloborodova N.V. is connected with the work in the leading academic scientific institutions of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, in recent years - the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations. Series of clinical and experimental studies on the role of microbial metabolites in normal and human pathologies were initiated. The results of the researches formed the basis for the concept of the integration of human metabolism and its microbiota (2012) and led to the discovery of signaling molecules involved in the mechanisms of sepsis, multiple organ failure and septic shock. New biomarkers have been developed for diagnostics, prognosis and monitoring of critical states with the purpose of introduction into clinical practice.
