Научные достижения: doctor of medical science, professor, head of laboratory of metabolism in critical states of V.A. Negovsky Scientific Research Institute of General Reanimatology, which is a subdivision of Federal Research and Clinical Center of Intensive Care Medicine and rehabilitilogy, Moscow. Research interests: sepsis, infectious complications, biomarkers, antibiotic therapy, human microecology, microbiota, microbial biofilms, metabolomics, metabolic diagnostics, bacterial signaling molecules. All labor activity of Beloborodova N.V. is connected with the work in the leading academic scientific institutions of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, in recent years - the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations. Series of clinical and experimental studies on the role of microbial metabolites in normal and human pathologies were initiated. The results of the researches formed the basis for the concept of the integration of human metabolism and its microbiota (2012) and led to the discovery of signaling molecules involved in the mechanisms of sepsis, multiple organ failure and septic shock. New biomarkers have been developed for diagnostics, prognosis and monitoring of critical states with the purpose of introduction into clinical practice. Clinical researches on optimization of antimicrobial therapy and fundamental works of Beloborodova NV are widely known in Russia and are awarded by departmental awards, such as: - Diploma of Filatova NF in the field of pediatrics (1996); - Diploma of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University contest for the publication of teaching aids and co-authorship in textbooks on pediatric surgery and intensive care (2008); - The second Prize of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in the field of fundamental medical research for the work "Development of the Fundamentals of Optimization of Antimicrobial Therapy" (2001); - Medal and the Prize of Bakuleva AN "For the success in solving the problem of infection in cardiosurgery" (2008). Recognition of the scientific achievements of Beloborodova NV abroad is confirmed by international awards: - Nominal Prize of Maria Koates "Best lecturer-scientist" at the "XVIII International Symposium on Gnotobiology" (2014); - Medal of Robert Koch "For achievements in science" of the European Academy of Natural Sciences, Hannover, Germany (2013); - Award at the "International Sepsis Forum-2014" for the best work «Tyrosine metabolism disorder and the potential capability of anaerobic microbiota to decrease the value of aromatic metabolites in critically ill patients», The Pasteur Institute, Paris, France. Beloborodova NV is the author of 12 monographs and chapters in books/textbooks, has 8 patents, more than 400 publications in Russian and foreign journals. More than 20 theses on the specialties in microbiology, pediatrics, pulmonology, pediatric surgery, pathological physiology have been prepared and defended under her leadership. For 14 years she is the initiator and organizer of the Annual All-Russian Conference with international participation "The problem of infection in critical conditions." Beloborodova NV is a full member of the European Academy of Natural Sciences (Hannover, Germany) from 2003 and is an expert of the Russian Science Foundation from 2017.
